Hunyo, June-yo ;)

As my first post for June, here's a personality profile I came across with at Facebook. I couldn't agree more with the results. This is me. And I'm comfortable with who I am.

I made comments after each interpretation. I just find this really interesting because at most times, I find it hard to describe myself. This helped me find the right adjectives and descriptions for myself.

Openness

This trait refers to the extent to which you prefer novelty versus convention. Approximately 5% of respondents have a lower openness raw percentage than yours. From the way you answered the questions, you seem to describe yourself as someone who is down-to-earth and prefers things to be simple and straightforward. You might say that it just makes life easier if things don't change unnecessarily, that the arts are of no practical use to you, and that you think tradition is more important than others do.

Reflective question: How do you react to change?

♥ True, I'm a very secretive, traditional, and conservative person in terms of my relationships, my clothing preference, my views, and my principles in life. However, I believe this trait does not hinder my progress. I very easily adapt to change, too. And I embrace changes that are beneficial to me and my loved ones.

Conscientiousness

This trait refers to the extent to which you prefer an organised, or a flexible, approach in life. Approximately 95% of respondents have a lower conscientiousness raw percentage than yours. From the way you answered the questions, you seem to describe yourself as someone who is a perfectionist. From your responses it appears that you prefer to plan everything to the last detail, which has consequently led to you being very successful and extremely reliable. From your responses it appears that more than most you enjoy seeing your long-term plans come to fruition.
Reflective question: How does being in an untidy environment make you feel?

♥ Though the interpretation focused on being OC, I believe being conscientious truly means choosing the right thing over the wrong. Sure I have made mistakes. But as much as possible, I stick to what I believe is moral. I prefer to do things the "clean" way and I don't deceive others in order to gain material things.

Extraversion

This trait refers to the extent to which you enjoy company, and seek excitement and stimulation. Approximately 5% of respondents have a lower extraversion raw percentage than yours. From the way you answered the questions, you seem to describe yourself as someone who is quiet and somewhat withdrawn. Your answers describe you as someone who doesn't need lots of other people around to have fun, and can sometimes find that people are tiring.
Reflective question: How do you like to spend your spare time?

♥ Most of the time, I am just a wall paper. I prefer spending the day with my mom and sister than go to crowded bars. I prefer to watch a movie with my boyfriend than mingle with new acquaintances. I find it easier to be talkative in front of long-time friends and find it difficult to mingle with crowds. I am really an extrovert ever since I was a child. This explains why I only keep a few good friends.

Agreeableness

This trait refers to the way you express your opinions and manage relationships. Approximately 76% of respondents have a lower agreeableness raw percentage than yours. From the way you answered the questions, you seem to describe yourself as someone who people get along with easily. Your responses suggest that you would say you are considerate and friendly, and think that other people are generally honest and decent.
Reflective question: Is your co-operative preference ever taken advantage of by others?

♥ I am very unsuspecting towards others. I would not have a clue on who is a good person and who has bad motives. I try my best best to get along with people by being as friendly as I can be. And since I'm generally shy, it's really difficult for me to say NO to others. In fact, I have been told that my being "overly kind" may be abused. Now, I have learned to choose which favors to accommodate and which ones to reject politely.  I now know how to stand up for myself, especially when I know I am right.

Neuroticism (Emotional stability)

This trait refers to the way you cope with, and respond to, life's demands. Approximately 16% of respondents have a lower neuroticism raw percentage than yours. From the way you answered the questions, you seem to describe yourself as someone who is calm and emotionally stable. Based on your responses, you come across as someone who is rarely bothered by things, and when they do get you down the feeling does not persist for very long.

Reflective question: When do your emotions (or lack of emotions) get in the way of good decision making?

♥ I have this mechanism that works when my boyfriend and I fight. I psyche myself not to be upset and feel bad. I think I have successfully channeled this mechanism in life in general. I now don't feel panicky when given too much work load. I no longer feel very nervous in front of  my bosses. I am no longer affected by nosy people. As much as possible, I keep my calm in everything I do. Maybe I have grown indifferent. I don't know, but this trait works for me very well. It doesn't really affect my decision making as I let my mind work, not my emotions, on that aspect.
